Connect your Malaysian bank accounts

How connections work

Sampul uses read-only connections to aggregate your account balances and transactions. Read-only means exactly that: Sampul can see your data to help you plan, but it cannot move money, make payments, or change anything at your bank.

Connecting an account

From Cash flow → Accounts:

1. 1.Choose Connect account and search for your bank.
2. 2.Follow the secure connection flow for your institution.
3. 3.Once connected, your recent transactions import automatically and stay in sync.

If your bank isn't supported yet

You can add any account manually and update its balance yourself — manual accounts work with budgets, goals, zakat calculation, and net worth just like connected ones.

We're expanding bank coverage continuously. Tell us which bank you're missing at support@sampul.app and we'll prioritise it.

Disconnecting

You can disconnect any institution from Settings → Institutions at any time. You'll be asked whether to keep or delete the historical data it imported.
